Fortnite Leak: Robert Pattinson Batman Skin Hits Item Shop Tonight

A Darker Knight Arrives on the Island

Fortnite players are about to get a massive surprise tonight. Reliable data miners have uncovered encrypted files pointing to an imminent, unannounced crossover with Matt Reeves’ upcoming DC film, The Batman Part II. If these leaks hold true, the game’s nightly Item Shop reset will debut a brand-new Robert Pattinson Batman skin, complete with a reactive style and a customizable Batmobile vehicle body.

Leakers began sharing the details early this morning after a small background patch went live. Epic Games has kept completely quiet, but the community is already buzzing. The crossover marks a highly anticipated return to form for Fortnite’s partnership with DC Comics, which has been relatively quiet lately as Marvel collaborations dominated the recent gaming seasons.

A Reactive Suit That Gathers Battle Damage

The centerpiece of this unexpected collaboration is undoubtedly the Robert Pattinson skin. It captures the rugged, DIY tactical aesthetic of the 2022 film perfectly. Unlike previous Batman skins in Fortnite, this version features a unique reactive element. According to prominent community insider ShiinaBR, the suit collects battle damage as you survive matches.

By the time you reach the final circles, your armor will show scuffs, bullet marks, and grime from the island’s chaotic battles. The cape itself is also rumored to have unique physics, acting as a back bling that unfurls into a glider when jumping from high places. There is also a second style option. Players can toggle the classic drifter outfit, showing Bruce Wayne in his civilian, eye-shadow-wearing state before he puts on the cowl.

Drive the Batmobile in Rocket Racing and Battle Royale

But the crossover doesn’t stop with cosmetics. Epic Games is also introducing the muscle-car style Batmobile from the movie as a fully usable vehicle body. This means players can equip it not only in standard Battle Royale matches but also in Rocket Racing and Rocket League.

Leaks suggest the Batmobile will come with customizable trim colors, boost trails, and wheel options. It’s a massive addition for players who love personalizing their rides. Because of Epic’s cross-ownership system, anyone who buys the Batmobile in Fortnite will also find it sitting in their Rocket League garage. This cross-game compatibility has become a major selling point for premium vehicle bundles, justifying the higher price point for players who jump between both titles.

Timing, Prices, and Community Reaction

Why is this crossover happening now? The Batman Part II isn’t scheduled to hit theaters for quite some time, but Epic Games has a long history of dropping highly anticipated collaborations ahead of schedule to build long-term hype. It also aligns perfectly with a mid-season lull where players are looking for fresh content to keep them engaged.

Fortnite has a deep history with DC. We’ve seen the classic comic version of the Dark Knight, Christian Bale’s iconic suit from the Christopher Nolan trilogy, and even an armored ‘Zero Point’ variant from Fortnite’s own comic book tie-ins. Yet, Robert Pattinson’s lean, gritty take on the character has remained a glaring omission. Tonight, that gap is finally being filled.

The entire bundle is expected to go live at 8:00 PM Eastern Time tonight, which is the standard time for the Fortnite Item Shop to refresh. While official prices haven’t been confirmed, typical licensed bundles of this scale usually range between 2,000 and 2,500 V-Bucks. The Batmobile will likely be sold separately or as part of a premium mega-bundle for a slightly higher price.

The reception on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. Fans are praising the decision to focus on the newer, darker cinematic universe. Many are hoping this leads to even more characters from the Reeves-verse making their way to the game in the near future. For now, players will have to settle for the caped crusader himself. Be sure to save your V-Bucks and watch the shop tonight.
