The clear standouts of this year’s launch are the legendary horror collaborations. Leading the pack is Billy the Puppet, the infamous messenger from the Saw franchise. The skin perfectly captures his creepy, rosy-cheeked visage. He comes bundled with a tricycle traversal emote that lets players slowly squeak across the battlefield, mimicking the films’ tense pacing. It is a hilarious yet deeply unsettling addition to the game. Seeing a tiny puppet riding a tricycle toward you in the final circle is something players won’t soon forget.
He is not alone. Leatherface, the chainsaw-wielding terror from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, has also made his bloody debut.
