Fortnite Disney Oasis Expansion Leaked by Dataminers
Fortnite is about to get a whole lot bigger. It is getting more magical, too. Leakers have just pulled back the curtain on Epic Games’ highly anticipated collaboration with Disney, giving us our first real glimpse at what is being called “Disney Oasis.”
The massive leak, uncovered by prominent Fortnite dataminers, reveals concept art, early 3D assets, and code strings buried deep within the game’s latest update files. What they found points to a massive, persistent virtual world running alongside Fortnite’s existing Battle Royale and Lego modes. The files do not lie. This is not just a collection of simple character skins. It is an entire digital ecosystem.
Epic Games and Disney first announced their historic $1.5 billion partnership back in February. At the time, Disney CEO Bob Iger called it the company’s largest entry ever into the gaming world. But details remained scarce. Now, we finally have an idea of what players will actually do in this sprawling digital theme park.
A Universe Divided Into Worlds
According to the leaked files, the Disney Oasis map functions as a giant central hub. From this plaza, players can jump into dedicated, highly detailed zones. Each zone represents a core Disney brand. The transition seems seamless, built to leverage Epic’s Unreal Engine 5 tech.
The Star Wars sector seems to be the most developed in the leaked code. Files mention a playable zone resembling the desert planet of Tatooine, complete with a social hub modeled after Chalmun’s Cantina. Players can reportedly buy virtual blue milk, customize their own lightsabers, and participate in pod-racing mini-games. Another section of the map appears to feature a hangar bay inside a Galactic Empire Star Destroyer, hinting at potential space battles or co-op missions.
Marvel fans also have plenty to look forward to. The dataminers found references to “Stark Plaza” and a glowing Wakandan jungle. Unlike the temporary Marvel seasons Fortnite has hosted in the past, these areas are designed to be permanent fixtures. Code suggests players will be able to assemble customized superhero gear and take on wave-based survival challenges against classic comic book villains.

Pixar and Classic Disney Join the Fray
The leaks also confirm a heavy Pixar presence. Assets show a colorful, oversized world based on Toy Story, where player avatars are shrunk down to the size of action figures in Andy’s backyard. Dataminers also spotted files for a Monsters, Inc. scare floor, complete with interactive doors that teleport players to different parts of the map instantly.
For those who prefer traditional Disney magic, there is a “Fantasy Kingdom” zone. It centers around a massive, customizable Cinderella Castle. This area seems geared toward social play, creativity, and customization. Players can design their own virtual homes, attend digital movie screenings, and shop for exclusive cosmetic items to show off to their friends.
It is not just about exploring. The leaked code references “persistent inventories” and a separate progression system. This means items, abilities, and currencies earned inside the Disney Oasis will carry over between different zones, creating a unified gaming experience distinct from the standard Battle Royale loop. It is a bold move.
When Is It Coming?
To access this new world, players will reportedly load into a separate option right from the main Fortnite lobby, similar to how they launch Rocket Racing or Fortnite Festival. This keeps everything under one roof.
Epic Games has not officially commented on the leaks. However, industry analysts expect the Disney Oasis expansion to launch sometime in late 2025 or early 2026. The sheer scale of the leaked assets suggests development is already well underway.
For Disney, this is a long-term play. The entertainment giant wants to capture the attention of younger audiences who spend more time in virtual spaces than watching traditional television. For Epic Games, it is another step toward their dream of a true metaverse. As the line between gaming, social media, and cinema continues to blur, Disney Oasis could set a new standard for how media companies engage with fans. Until the official reveal, players will just have to keep their eyes on the patch notes.
