Fortnite Tracker Launches Analytics Dashboard for UEFN Creators

Fortnite is no longer just a battle royale game. Over the past year, it has evolved into a massive ecosystem of user-generated games, driven largely by Epic Games’ Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). Thousands of developers, from solo hobbyists to veteran game studios, are building custom worlds. But in a crowded marketplace, standing out is tough. Knowing whether players actually enjoy your map is even tougher.

To help creators navigate this competitive environment, Tracker Network has launched a dedicated analytics dashboard on its Fortnite Tracker platform. The new tool is designed specifically for UEFN map makers, giving them a detailed look at how players interact with their custom creations.

Why Map Retention Matters More Than Ever

Getting a player to try a new custom map is a great first step. Getting them to return the next day is where the real challenge lies. Under Epic Games’ Creator Economy 2.0 payout system, engagement and retention are directly tied to financial compensation. Creators are paid based on how long players stick around and how often they return to a map.

Before this launch, creators had to rely on basic statistics provided by Epic’s official Creator Portal. While useful, those numbers did not always give a complete picture. The new Fortnite Tracker dashboard aims to fill those gaps. It provides actionable insights that allow creators to make data-driven updates to their maps.

Key Features of the UEFN Analytics Dashboard

The dashboard compiles several critical metrics into a clean, visual interface. Creators who link their maps to the service can track performance in real time. Here are some of the primary metrics available:

Get Know Instant Access

  • Retention Rates: Track how many players return to a map after their initial session, broken down by day-one, day-seven, and day-thirty metrics.
  • Session Lengths: Monitor the average amount of time a player spends in a single play session to identify if a map is too short or too repetitive.
  • Active Player Peaks: See historical charts of concurrent player counts to understand when a map is most popular during the week.
  • Global Leaderboards: Compare a custom map’s performance directly against the top-performing maps in the entire Fortnite ecosystem.

These features allow developers to quickly spot problems. For example, if players routinely leave a map after exactly five minutes, it might point to a bug, a sudden spike in difficulty, or a lack of mid-game content. Having access to this data allows developers to patch their games before losing their player base entirely.

A Professional Tool for Independent Creators

Tracker Network has spent years building statistics trackers for games like competitive Fortnite, Valorant, and Destiny. Expanding into creator-focused analytics is a natural step for the company. The goal is to provide everyday map creators with the same analytical depth that professional game studios use to manage live-service titles.

“The UEFN space is growing incredibly fast,” says a representative from Tracker Network. “Creators are essentially running their own game studios now, but many have been operating in the dark. We wanted to give them the tools to understand their audience, improve their designs, and ultimately build more successful businesses within Fortnite.”

To use the new dashboard, creators simply need to search for their published map codes on the Fortnite Tracker website, claim ownership, and verify their identity. Once verified, the platform begins pulling public data points and compiling them into digestible charts and graphs. The basic service is free to use, making it accessible to amateur creators who are just starting out.

Levelling the Playing Field

The timing of this release is critical. As UEFN matures, major gaming brands and well-funded studios are entering the Fortnite ecosystem, raising the bar for quality and marketing. Independent creators are finding it harder to compete for player attention. By offering deep, accessible analytics, this new dashboard could help level the playing field, giving solo developers the insights they need to compete with larger teams.
