Fortnite Tracker Launches Leaderboards for Custom UEFN Maps

Fortnite isn’t just a battle royale anymore. Honestly, it hasn’t been for a long time. Ever since Epic Games launched the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)—often called Creative 2.0—millions of players have spent their time in custom worlds. They play everything from tactical extraction shooters and racing simulators to high-stress deathruns. But despite the massive popularity of these user-generated maps, players faced a frustrating limitation: there was no easy way to track their achievements.

If you set a world-record lap time or dominated a custom lobby, that data usually vanished the moment you left the match. Not anymore.

Tracker Network, the team behind the widely used Fortnite Tracker database, has officially rolled out a massive UEFN integration. This update brings detailed stat tracking and global leaderboards to custom Fortnite experiences, treating user-created maps with the same competitive respect as Epic’s official game modes.

Bringing Real Stats to the Creative Sandbox

The new system allows map creators to link their UEFN projects directly with Fortnite Tracker. Once integrated, the platform can pull in-game data in real time. Players can search their personal profiles on the site to view a dedicated tab showing how they perform in their favorite custom games.

Depending on what the map creator chooses to track, these stats can go far beyond simple wins and losses. We are talking about highly specific metrics. If you play a custom shooter, the tracker can log your headshot accuracy and weapon-specific kills. If you prefer obstacle courses or racing maps, it can track your precise completion times down to the millisecond. Even economy-based games like tycoon maps can now display leaderboards showing who has amassed the most in-game gold.

A Major Win for Custom Map Creators

This integration isn’t just a fun novelty for players. It is a powerful tool for the developers who build these custom experiences. In the crowded Fortnite ecosystem, keeping players hooked is incredibly difficult. Creators are constantly fighting for a spot on Fortnite’s heavily algorithmic Discover tab, where player retention is everything.

Get Know Instant Access

By giving players a tangible sense of progression and a global leaderboard to climb, creators now have a built-in way to keep people coming back. Competition breeds engagement. When players can see exactly how they rank against the rest of the world, they are much more likely to spend hours perfecting their strategies and grinding for the top spot.

The setup process is designed to be as seamless as possible. Map makers can apply to have their maps featured on Fortnite Tracker, where they will get a dedicated landing page. From there, they can configure custom leaderboards that match the unique rules of their games.

The Evolution of Fortnite as a Gaming Platform

This move highlights how rapidly Fortnite is evolving. Epic Games has made no secret of its desire to turn the game into a massive, interconnected metaverse. By allowing third-party services like Tracker Network to build deep analytical tools for custom maps, Fortnite is starting to look less like a single video game and more like Roblox or Steam.

It also opens up new possibilities for amateur esports. In the past, hosting a tournament on a custom Fortnite map was a logistical nightmare. Organizers had to manually review video submissions or rely on players reporting their own scores. Now, with automatic, verified tracking through Fortnite Tracker, competitive communities can run leagues and tournaments on custom maps with complete confidence in the integrity of the data.

The UEFN integration is live right now. Players can head over to Fortnite Tracker to see which of their favorite maps have already adopted the system, while creators can begin applying to set up leaderboards for their own custom creations.
