Sabrina Carpenter Joins Fortnite Festival For Interactive Tour
Sabrina Carpenter is taking her coffee on the go, straight into the virtual world. Epic Games has announced that the pop sensation is the latest superstar to headline a multi-stage interactive concert tour inside Fortnite Festival.
It is going to be loud. It is going to be pink. And yes, players can buy the digital platform boots.
The crossover comes during a massive year for the singer. After dominating the summer charts with her hit singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," Carpenter is bringing the aesthetic of her hit album, Short n’ Sweet, to the gaming universe. The virtual event promises to turn her pastel-hued, retro-pop style into a playable, gravity-defying adventure.
Not Your Average Video Stream
This is not a passive viewing experience. Players will not just sit back and watch a digital avatar sing. Instead, Fortnite Festival is turning the concert into a highly interactive rhythm journey. Developed in collaboration with Harmonix, the studio behind Rock Band, the event will challenge players to ride syncopated sound waves, dodge obstacles shaped like giant vintage lipsticks, and hit notes in time with Carpenter’s vocals.
The setlist spans her biggest hits. Players will journey through a dreamlike cityscape during "Espresso," complete with coffee-cup platforms, before transitioning to a dramatic, neon-lit theatrical stage for "Please Please Please."

"I wanted to create a space that feels like a direct window into my brain," Carpenter said in a statement accompanying the announcement. "Fortnite let us build these massive, surreal dreamscapes where my music physically changes the environment. Plus, seeing a digital version of myself running around with a giant microphone hammer is pretty wild."

As with all major Fortnite collaborations, the digital wardrobe is a major selling point. Starting next week, the in-game Item Shop will feature several Sabrina Carpenter cosmetic sets. Fans can purchase:
- The "Short n’ Sweet" Outfit, featuring her signature blonde blowout and a sparkling blue stage outfit.
- The "Heartbreak Hotel" Keytar, a custom playable instrument for the rhythm game mode.
- The "Espresso" Emote, which allows players to sit at a tiny retro cafe table and sip a coffee mid-match.
- A custom microphone stand wrapped in pink velvet and pearls.
Epic Games has been leaning heavily into music partnerships lately, trying to transition Fortnite from a battle royale game into a broader entertainment platform. Epic’s director of global music partnerships, Emily Levy, noted that Carpenter was an obvious choice for their latest season.
"Sabrina’s visual identity is incredibly strong, and her songs are practically built for rhythm gameplay," Levy said. "Our goal with the Festival stage is to bridge the gap between traditional music videos and active gaming. This tour does exactly that."
How to Watch and Play
The interactive experience is completely free to access for anyone who has downloaded Fortnite. It is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, November 21, at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The virtual tour will run continuously through Sunday, November 24, giving players around the globe multiple chances to jump in, queue up with friends, and experience the show.
No special gaming hardware is required. The event will be live across all platforms where Fortnite is available, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices via cloud gaming. Players just need to launch the game and select the "Sabrina Carpenter Experience" tile from the main lobby screen.
